Commonly known by locals as the “Helicopter Park,” Veteran’s Memorial Park in Chickamauga, Georgia is the perfect place to participate in a number of recreational activities. The park bears the name of two Vietnam veterans and has a Huey Helicopter, a symbol of the Vietnam War, on display to honor those who died in service of the United States.

The park is home to a playground, a sand volleyball court, picnic area,  a paved walking track and is free of charge. The park is located on the corner of Crittenden Avenue and W. 8th Street in Chickamauga.
